This is a four year full-time course leading to a Bachelor's degree (240 credit points, ECTS) and teacher's certificate in eurythmy. It includes daily classes in speech and tone eurythmy, both group and solo work. Norwegian is the main language for the speech eurhythmy. In addition, German and English poetry are introduced in the course of the training.

The educational year goes from august to june.

Applicaion for next school year 2012-2013:

– application closes 31st of March, 2012 for foreign applicants outside EU

- application closes 15th of April, 2012 for applicants from EU 

In addition to the daily classes in eurythmy, speech formation, singing (choir), music theory, art history, geometry, astronomy and anatomy are taught on a weekly or block basis. The work with anthroposophy (the science of man) is the foundation for all the teaching in this four-year course.

Trained eurythmists have the following career options:

• Eurythmy teacher in Steiner/Waldorf schools,curative homes, kindergartens, in business or adult classes for the public.

• Performing eurythmist in an ensemble.

• Therapeutic eurythmist in a private practice, in hospitals, therapy centers or schools after further specialized training.

Additional training in therapeutic or pedagogical eurythmy is available in other European educational institutions. There are also short and longer courses in eurythmy as a performing art.
